My research focuses on the government performance and socio-political negotiations around the governance of the digital transformation with a special interest in artificial intelligence. Lately, I concentrate on citizens’ preferences concerning the sustainability of AI and its implications for the regulation of AI. I am also working with the GIZ and other institutions on topics related to the intersection of sustainability and digitalization. At the newly founded TUM Think Tank, we engage in effective networking and provide policy advice on some of the most pressing issues of our time with the aim to promote the future-oriented governance towards a resilient and sustainable economy and society.
