My work focuses on climate change mitigation, the circular economy, chemicals and waste management, and other aspects of environmental sustainability and sustainable development. I also work on tools for bridging sustainability science and policy, including foresight and scenario planning. I am interested in how digital technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, crowd computing, the internet of things, big data, and the full suite of the Fourth Industrial Revolution can help achieve environmental and sustainability objectives.
