Lorenz Hilty

Full Professor, Department of Informatics and Head of Informatics and Sustainability Research Group, University of Zurich

Lorenz M. Hilty is a full professor at the University of Zurich with a research focus on digital transformation and sustainable development, and director of the Zurich Knowledge Center for Sustainable Development. He is the author of over 100 scientific articles, book chapters and technical reports on environmental and sustainability aspects of computing and initiated the conference series ICT for Sustainability with ICT4S 2013 held in Zurich. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the Foundation for Technology Assessment of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences.
