Janna Axenbeck

Janna Axenbeck is an empirical researcher. She joined the German Environment Agency as a researcher in May 2023. Previously, she was part of the Digital Economy research department at ZEW Mannheim, Germany. Axenbeck received her doctorate from the Chair of Economics of Digitalization at the Justus Liebig University Giessen. Her research uses diverse datasets on economic activities and employs econometric and machine learning methods to investigate how digitalization affects environmental outcomes in different industries.
